But before I go any further, let’s clear up a few misconceptions. Destiny is not Fate. The word Fate assumes that whatever will be will be, that future events are predetermined, that there is an inevitability. "Fate" and (our definition of) "Destiny" couldn't be further apart. Destiny is not in any way inevitable. You already know this just from looking around at the people in your life. In fact, I'll go one step further: if you don't step up your game, you will NOT create a Destined life. Sorry, but IT WON'T JUST HAPPEN! (Oh yeah, you'll have a future, but if you don't shake it up, it will look way too much like your present to see any difference!) But (and this is an important "but") DON'T FEEL BAD. It's not your fault. How could you know you need to "demand destiny"? It's not talked about much (if at all). So how would you know you're missing an important piece? This is important to me you get this point - because I don't want you wasting time beating yourself up.
